I’m currently working on Private Tokyo, and then move on my 18th novel, a standalone thriller that…well, I can’t say much about it for a few more weeks. Stay tuned.
FOOTBALL
Those of you who read my previous message might be pleased to know the three young Mauritian footballers who went to train with a professional football club in England have acquitted themselves brilliantly, and we’re expecting positive things to come from that experience.
A developer friend and I came up with a fun football persona quiz which is designed to get young players thinking about how they play, but it’s an entertaining for players of any age. It’s been a while since I’ve played football, but the quiz decided I’m a Silent Guardian.

MAURITIUS
One of the reasons I started Grand Bay Life was to give people a taste of Mauritius, and it really is a country that has so much going on. There’s a burgeoning sustainability community on the island, and, Dietmar Reigber, one of the leading figures on the island and founder of Dito’s Kombucha, recently wrote a blog on growing organic veggies that breaks down everything from how to do it to the economics. Perfect for foodies, those interested in sustainability, or authors researching the ins and outs of market gardens. The figures relate to Mauritius, but they’re easy enough to convert wherever you are in the world.
