Thanks to everyone who has supported me and my writing in 2023. I continue to get lovely messages from readers who’ve enjoyed The Other Side of Night, White Fire, Private Beijing, and Private Rome, which all came out in hardback or paperback earlier in the year.
Next year will see the publication of Private: Missing Persons in the US, Private Monaco, and Deadbeat, my standalone thriller, which is out in the latter part of 2024.
I’m also hoping to have some exciting news about the Scott Pearce series, so stay tuned.
Today’s post isn’t about me though. It’s about my wife Amy and her new publishing imprint Everyday Expertise. Aimed at arming people with practical hints and tips to deal with everyday challenges, Everyday Expertise is a range of affordable books packed with advice we can all rely on.
The Good Habits book is perfect for anyone who’s thinking about making a change in 2024. I have a vested interest in Amy’s success, so take my praise with a pinch of salt, but it altered the way I think about change. Thinking about fitness, healthy eating, and alcohol consumption as behaviours rather than outcomes was fascinating.
Anyway, it’s easy to read and cheap as chips, so give it a try.
If you’re tired of being hit by respiratory illnesses or are suffering from the effects of seasonal allergies or pollution, don’t miss this handy guide to clean air.
And if you or anyone you know is expecting, this short, sharp read will help prepare for the often overwhelming first few weeks that follow a new arrival.
Amy’s editorial mission is simple: to help make life better. Her 20+ years of experience as a journalist have taught her the importance of providing reliable, trusted information, so if you have an everyday problem, keep an eye on the growing library of Everyday Expertise books. There might be one that’s just right for you.
Alright, that’s quite enough helpful positivity. Normal thrills and spills service will be resumed in 2024.
In the meantime, I wish you and yours the very best for the rest of 2023 and a very Happy New Year,
Adam
