White Fire an Amazon Kindle 99p Special
A special offer, useful idiots, and a general Passepartout
Those of you with overflowing inboxes will be grateful for my prolonged radio silence. To everyone else, I can only apologise. For reasons personal and professional, 2024 is proving to be one of those years that just won’t stop running away.
Before I forget, the Kindle version of WHITE FIRE, the third Scott Pearce novel, is currently on sale for only 99p. Set five minutes in the future against a backdrop of the climate movement and radical extremism, the book, which was originally scheduled for publication in 2022, feels as though it has been torn from the headlines.
I’ve been working on the screen adaptation of the Scott Pearce novels with an accomplished UK producer and excellent production company and hope to have more news on that soon. Anyone who has read the author’s note at the end of BLACK 13 will know my thoughts on the dangers of the far right and the forces currently causing so much division, violence, terror, and strife on the streets of Britain.
I’ve written extensively about the forces at work radicalising populations around the world, often operating beneath the radar so we have no real understanding of their true agenda or ideology. The people rioting, looting, setting fire to public buildings and refuges, terrorizing public service workers, and spreading conspiracy theories are doing the work of those who would seek to fundamentally harm the nation. Britain and other countries around the world face the challenge of deradicalising large sections of their populations and restoring trust in the institutions that once bound our societies to a common good. Until this happens, bad actors will continue to manipulate the radicalised.
PRIVATE MONACO, my fifth novel with thriller legend James Patterson, was published earlier this year. Check it out if you want some escapist fiction for the summer.
I’m currently working on an original action thriller feature film with a great production team and an extraordinarily talented director and hope to be able to announce more about that before the end of the year.
I’m also editing PRIVATE DUBLIN, my sixth collaboration with James Patterson, which will be out in 2025.
When I’m not wrangling words, one of my hobbies is working as a camera operator and general Passepartout for the youngest member of the family, who is still on a mission to help young children improve their footballing skills. Here he is having a bit of fun with an unusual challenge he set himself:
My stand-alone crime thriller DEADBEAT will be published in December, and I’ll be writing more about the birth of this provocative book soon, so do stay tuned. I promise not to be absent from your inbox for quite so long.
Until then, I wish you and yours the very best,
Adam
